A new view of the National Hotel

As a way of closing a great Heritage Festival, today I had the pleasure of doing a tour of the partially revamped National Hotel on High St in the West End.
It is great to see work underway on bringing this amazing building back to its former glory including reinstating the front bar with 4 star hotel rooms above and then Fremantle’s first roof bar on top with amazing views from the port to Rottnest Island.
When it is all done it is going to be a very special place. Here are some shots from the roof deck over Freo
