Light Rail in Perth – what is slowing us down?

If you didn’t have a chance to see this 7.30 WA clip on light rail in Perth it is well worth a look. It asks: why light rail for Perth has promised for years but the project is still just lines on a planning map and proponents are asking why it is taking so long to take the next step?

On this note, the City of Fremantle is about to take the next step in locking in a dedicated light rail route to our South to Cockburn Coast.

    Hey, that was great to watch, thanks for the link, I would have missed seeing it otherwise. Really well made piece I thought, lots of interesting info in it. Exciting to think that the reality of some light rail might be inching closer, and that once some is here then more will begin to happen as a result.
