RARE SPECIES OF CRANE SEEN IN FREO

I saw a rare species of crane on Essex in Fremantle today. No not the long legged, flying bird kind but the much rarer construction and building kind. This is the second sighting of this rare species this year with one seen earlier in Bannister Street. The City of Fremantle has working hard on bringing back this species that some feared had become extinct in the Fremantle CBD. A more enabling local environment has some experts predicting an influx of this rare species over the next couple of years in Freo especially in non-heritage areas.
