It has been a great Freo summer for funky pop up bars with the Kings Sq Common running last weekend and Zapfhall Pop-up above Pizza Bella Roma bringing a German beerhall vibe to the Cappuccino Strip.

The brains behind LESSONS at 1 Pakenham St are now kicking off Distribution Lane this weekend. They are unveiling their new event space to the public by hosting a 4-week pop-up bar and eatery in the West End of Fremantle. The pop-up will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until 11pm and will showcase all things cultural from food, fashion, art and music.

Food will be provided by Soul Provider Catering and will feature a diverse menu including chicken & waffle tacos, pulled pork buns and more, while the bar serves up cold drinks consisting of new and old favourites such as Brooklyn Brewery Lager, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Pressman’s Cider and sangria.

Distribution Lane is a wonderfully unique event space located in a heritage building and consisting of a laneway, open-air courtyard and a speakeasy-style basement.

Get down early to ensure entry as capacity is strictly limited to 100 patrons and please note that this is an 18+ event. Definitely a not-to-be-missed, one of a kind event in a previously unused part of Fremantle.

Thanks for your support Brad – Freo Royale’s pop-up bar in Kings Square was extremely well received.
