Freo young people ‘Keep it Real’ hip hop video

Earlier this week Josh and I attended the launch at Winterfold Primary School of the ‘Keep it Real’ hip hop video, produced with funds the City of Fremantle successfully applied for from the Commissioner for Children and Young People WA through their program for engagement with young Aboriginal people.

It’s a great little video, with a lot of energy, humour, and some clear messages: ‘family, culture, education – we’re going to build a strong foundation’ … and look out for the kids’ bold reclamation of the name ‘Beacy bronx’
