Got a shovel and some gloves?

The Friends of Hollis Park in South Freo are aiming to secure a place in the record books THIS SUNDAY MORNING and we need your help.

The aim is to set a local tree-planting record by putting 5000 new native trees into a a park in 1 day! It will transform the largely degraded area adjacent to the old part of South Fremantle tip site where the bike path runs.

This Sunday the 5th of July from 8.45am on. Bring your own gloves and shovel and see you there at the great community event.

55 years ago we used to have ARBOR DAY we used to plant half a dozen trees at the country school just north of Perth every year but dumb authorities did away with it.
