October-festivities at Zapfhall

Freo’s growing list of rahter unique and interesting venues has been boosted with the rather cool German inspired Zapfhall reopening. I popped in this week (to get there you have to go up the little ally behind Pizza Bella Roma and then up the stairs) to check out their October-festivities and it is quite unlike another Fremantle venue. Not only does it have one the best views of Fremantle from the balcony where you can watch the people watchers and the world go by but it also has a great selection of food and German beers that you can’t get anywhere else in Fremantle (or Perth most likely).

As a food critic wrote the other day the Fremantle scene is maturing and this is one more example of Fremantle as a diverse destination. Her’s a few pictures:
