FreoMatch funding program open for 10 more days!

FreoMatch funding program is open once again for applications, with only a few remaining weeks for sustainability project innovators to apply.
The model, based on a ‘tipping point’ approach is designed to encourage participants to seek community support and involvement in their projects through crowdfunding, with those successfully reaching 50% of their total target being eligible for the remaining 50% of funding from the City of Fremantle.
The inaugural FreoMatch pitching event was held in August last year and saw four worthy projects successfully launch and reach their collective target of $44 000 which was then matched by the City.
The One Planet FreoMatch funding program is now open for project applications until Friday 12 February 2016. Not-for-profit organisations, local businesses and social enterprises, start-ups and individuals with concepts that align with the City of Fremantle’s One Planet Strategy and its ten sustainability principles are invited to apply.
Successful applicants will be invited to the One Planet Pitch event on 24 March 2016. For more information on the program or past successful projects visit http://mysay.fremantle.wa.gov.au/freomatch.
