I was pleased to hear that Fremantle visitors and local residents donated over $1,200 for Freo’s homeless community via the City of Fremantle’s new “Donate Without Doubt” collection points have in the campaign’s opening month.
You might have seen the five spare life ring styled change collection points around the Fremantle CBD over the last month. I thank everyone who has donated so far, as every small donation provide even more assistance to those who need it. I would really in encourage people to donate spare change this way as it goes directly to St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre, who provide invaluable support to the homeless community in Fremantle.
Every donation is matched dollar-for-dollar by the City of Fremantle.
The Donate without doubt campaign is a joint collaboration between the City of Fremantle, WA Police and Community Newspaper Group that diverts all proceeds to St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre.
Spare change collection points are located in:
- Kings Square (between council offices and Queensgate car park)
- corner Adelaide and Queen Streets
- Market Street Piazza (behind Gino’s Cafe)
- Collie Street (outside the TAB)
- corner Essex Street & South Terrace (opposite Fremantle Markets / Sail and Anchor Hotel).
